I love the album "The Age of Plastic", such an underated classic. :D

Having rather less than eclectic taste in music, these threads feel like a bizarre game of Mornington Crecent where the game is to combine several unrelated words to make a band then name an equally bizarre single by them.

Thus I am currently listening to the heavy rock of Bad Focker Giblets, namely their underated third album Undercarriage like a run over hedgehog.

Anyone remember Kissing The Pink. They're my morning's earworm: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLeNX_7PtOw" target="_blank

You don't get that many drummers to the pound these days.

My morning music as i do my 'self employed stuff' is Ministry of Sound Anthems - Alternative 80's. This is a very good set but i have an issue with it. How the heck can they call it alternative? Most of the material on there is 80's pop (but very good). i think the title is a little wrong!

Anyone into The Evolution Revolution? They were a late 60's bubblegum flower power group and were notable for the fact they were the first all-chimp pop band. Jolly good they were too.

I listen to all sorts.

AC/DC, Joe Satriani, Led Zep, Floyd, Chems, Pendulum, Crystal Method, Soulwax.

Lately I've been listening to Cee lo Green a lot as well as Example, Chickenfoot, LMFAO and Die Antwoord.

Oooh, Soulwax! If you haven't already, there's a whole host of Belgian bands from the same period you probably want to check out, starting with dEUS (more recommendations available if wanted).

Awesome, thanks. I love Soulwax - their Night Versions is great as well.

I'll attempt to download some DEUS stuff now. Recommend an album at all?

The Ideal Crash is my favourite and considered one of their best.

das pop is a bit more young and hip-trendy, but a lot of fun. Connected to dEUS is Zita Swoon (Life = A Sexy Sanctuary is the recommendation there); there's a few Dutch bands you might like as well: De Staat and Johan.

Let me know how you get on with them! :)
