Maybe I'm one of those horrible elitists but thats just not Metal to me, its posery nonsense which fits well with the E image too.

For the record though, I quite like Rob zombies music

I'm not sure, I always get confused when it comes to metal, what fits where, and what is still "credible"... Let's just say I stand corrected ;)

Ah its not important, I only ask because I listen to rediculas metal. So I've totally lost when soft rock becomes hard rock or that becomes heavy metal or hard metal or brutal metal or just noise

It is! Ultimate guilty pleasure, but I love both House of 1000 Corpses and Devil's Rejects with a passion... Was through the films I ended up listening to his music :)

If you watch the film 'Curious George', you'll find yourself getting into Jack Johnson.

The dogs listen.

Many years back when I was playing.
This was one of our favourite pieces to perform.

Richard Cheese is a must listen too, Freddie will back me up on Frank Sidebottom :D also speaking of Bad Manners not been able to stop listening to skinhead love affair this last week or two.

Add to that list plenty of Ska, Robert Johnson, Nina Simone, Bessie Smith.

And when it comes to noise Ghoul Detail are one of my top choices and he was ever so kind and made me some intro music for one of my shows :D

Frank Sidebottom is a god. Sadly missed. Somewhere on a website called Shadowlocked you can read my tribute to the great man who I was lucky to know.

Bad Manners is the music of the gods. It's hard to get anything better than that.

As people are mentioning Dutch rock, may I bring Hocus Pocus by Focus into the mix which trumps any other Dutch rock tune as it includes yodelling.
