Russell, we don't give out any secrets so you are better off deleting the three threads you've just posted asking for them.

Take a look at the threads that give you resources to learn from and start from there.

I'll let you into a little secret, I hope Mandrake doesn't mind me exposing like this but they all use exactly the same method, faries. The magician has a fairy, she's usually hidden up his sleeves and casts a magic spell whenever needed.

If you were interested, I've just finished training a couple of fairies so could let you have them at a very reasonable price. One thing that I've managed to teach my fairies, something that no other breeder has managed yet is a little spell that makes them invisible to all but the most highly skilled magician. That makes them usable when wearing a t-shirt (both Blaine and Angel only use my fairies for this very reason).

I second what Heckler has said above. Try using the search function in the top right corner, I'm sure the topics you're asking about have been covered before, perhaps several times. This will also help you to not get a bad reputation for asking the wrong types of questions on the forum.

I must say though, for a magician who is actually performing shows, this is a bit of a wierd question to be asking. This type of thing isn't something I'd do but I could still think of a method or two for recreating this effect.

I guess an answer that you might like is to search ellusionist and theory 11 as they seem to do effects like this, but try using your head to over come problems rather than simply buying a trick.

Becky, don't you have any second choice fairy for a newbie like me? I don't think I can afford the best yet...

MiKo, Sorry but I pride myself on breeding only the finest of fairies. Some less reputable breeders do offer pixies and pixie\fairy hybrids for lower prices but in my experience they tend to be far less reliable, disruptive and often down right malicious when compared to pure blooded fairies. You don't have to look far on YouTube to see the results of using badly trained and poorly disciplined pixies. I'd really recommend saving up for a well trained fairy.

Alfred, while fairies are perfect for adults and older children, I'd strongly advise against using them in performances for childern under the age of about 8. They have quite a nasty habit of swapping the children for fairy changlings when you're not looking. Even with my highly trained fairies, there are only a very small handful that I'd trust around children.

Rest assured that in my ceaseless quest for a perfect forum I lurk in every crook and nanny, er, no... hang on a bit...that can't be right...

Folks, be aware that the use of Fairies, Pixies and Gnomes comes under the auspices of Elf and Safety legislation so do please be very careful and treat them well - or you'll get yer shins kicked!

I can assure that here in Finland and especially in Lapland the rights of Elves are taken very seriously. Especially after the big strike of 1986. That was a Christmas that mr. Claus will remember.

Ah yes indeed, it ranks right up there with other memorable events such as the Great Tea Trolley Disaster of '67 at Chester-Perry Co... those were the days....

You will never use the method that Blaine used, which is the same method Tom Orchard ( the great orchante`) uses.
It hurts.

you're like Yoda.you dont say much, but what you do say is worth listening to....

Do you have any that you can guarantee will swap babies for changelings as I'm due to be a dad in July and I'd really like to have a magic baby as opposed to one of the usual crying, pooing ones? I've had a quick read up on changelings and it sounds like they're quite well behaved as long as you regularly feed them raw meat and don't do anything to anger them.
