SHOWOFF by Brian Tudor

The Showoff video is Bryan Tudors video on playing card flourishes. It contains insane cuts that are pure eye-candy.

It contains the following and my thoughts on it:

"One Hand Revolution"
This one hand cut is smooth in his big hands. This needs practice to make it look good. A very flashy way to do the Charlier Cut. He shows ways to make the cut false and some variations on how to do it continously.

"Hollywood Cut"
This is a false cut that is completely done utilizing the One Handed Revolution Cut. It looks simple but practice is really really needed to make it look good. The mastery of the One Handed Revolution is needed.

"Gerry Griffin's Blind Swivel Cut"
A very easy cut to do. He teaches Gerry Griffin's version and his variation of the cut.

"Speed Cut"
Similar to the Hollywood cut but it looks more easier to do, but it is not. The One Handed Revolution should be mastered to do this cut.

"Three Fingeres Faro"
No comment on this one. I hate faros. This cut looks good.

"Paul David's One Handed Shuffle"
A shuffle cut resembling a reversed stretch cut. A move worth learning.

"What The Hell Happened to Sybil"
Explanations bad! How it looks-VERY VERY GOOD!
(Use the rewind button in your vcr if you wan to learn this)

"Bad Habit"
This one looks good like WTHHTS but explanations are not that good. Again, please use the rewind button.

Overall, Brian Tudor strives to teach everything really well but he fails to do so. The cuts are superb and all are worth learning.

A 7 out of 10 from me.

even with multiple rewinds, i still couldn't get WTHHTS and the bad habit cuts. I am most of the way there, its just the later parts get confuddled in my brain. It would also helped if he had some sort of script so he wouldnt make as many istakes, and if he got some cough medicine.
