Applying Dexters Putty

Postby RobMagic » Mar 1st, '12, 15:59

Hey one and all, I've done a quick search and nothing seems to cover this.

How would one go about applying dexters putty to a poker chip so that

a) it covers the whole face of the chip
b) can't be seem so obviously.

I just wonder if my putty is too old as I can't get it to seperate out properly or I'm missing a trick as it were.

Yes I want to do the Greg Wilson routine from Off the Cuff :)

There are alternatives that would work I know, but I happen to have some of the putty and was playing around with it and assume I'm being stupid because I can't get the stuff to look like it's not there as it were, or to split out properly so it applies flat and as thin as possible.

The goal is to just make it a little bit sticky, so less is more. In most cases the chip will stay put even without any glue/putty. The application of the glue/putty is just to give you a bit more freedom, so as Dale says double sided tape would work just as well, and even a quick spray of repositional glue.
