Is there a deck like this?

Postby hds02115 » Mar 8th, '12, 16:35

I'm in need of a deck of cards which when spread one way will show an ordinary deck, just a shuffled pack however when collected up and spread showing the other half of the faces they all appear to be hearts. Similar to the brainwave deck I believe only with the not normal side being a collection of hearts instead of force cards.

If not, how could I go about creating this type of deck?

[EDIT] The hearts side doesn't need to be all random cards, it can be all the same like an ace or something, just so long as the normal side appears ordinary.

I'm sure the Card Shark guy will make it up for you.

My god this is amazing. How did I not know about this before. Thanks.

Still if anyone knows of a deck like I need which is already available I'm all ears, but thank you, this may prove useful in the future as well. Any idea of the quality?

There is a deck available called 'The Monte Cristo Deck' http://www.magictao.co.uk/Monte-Cristo- ... -CardMaker which can be spread to show 52 different cards but it is in fact a one way force deck. Used in this way it could reveal the method though and it is not a cheap deck.

Yes, such a deck exists. I know this because I have one. I don't know what it is called, and I don't know where I got it, I think it was given to me by somebody who wanted to market the effect and wanted my opinion. It was really good. I'll give the description and it may help in your search.

shuffle the deck of blue backed cards, show the faces mix them up again if you like. have one card selected. Fan the cards and all the cards now match the selected card. But wait! Their card is different it is the only red card in a blue backed deck! But wait! Turn the cards over and spread the deck and all the backs are now red. Each time the cards are fanned or spread on the table.

Thanks, I think that deck does a little more than I need though. It sounds like what I want to happen with the faces happens with the backs too. I only need the faces to be modified but thanks, I might come across it in my searches still.

If you can still get a Sneak-A-Peek deck it might do what you want.

Also possibly the red half of a Dean Dill Whole New World Deck would do it if I remember rightly.

This might do the trick, so to speak.
