Re-banding an internal band folding coin - Any suggestions??

Postby The Last Deck on the Left » Mar 20th, '12, 16:57

Hi there,

I have an 3 fold internal band Tango £2. It's about time I re-banded it, as I've had it ages and I'm worried it might snap soon.

I can't seem to find anything anywhere about how to do this, nor can I see where and how I tie the knot.

All that came with it was a small piece of metal wire and the elasticated thread which seems like soft fishing line.

Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Thanks,

Ask Mark Waddington, because he raised this exact question a few months back. The "soft fishing line" Is beading elastic, and much stronger than standard Bands It also doesnt perish. Mark will be able to help you with the size needed, and exactly how to thread it.
Tell him i sent you.
