Snap change (clear literary description)

Postby Liam » Apr 3rd, '12, 21:06

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me which book or books has got a good clear description of the snap change, with preference on finger positions and timing, more than anything else?

I'm just having a bit of trouble concealing the original top card, and bringing it back quick enough to make the change look how it should....instant.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

A little misdirection helps the snap change look more smooth as little as with the other hand click your fingers and the fingers on the cards should be at the bottom corner and when pulling back the card tilt the first fore finger forwards and that helps the concealed card dan and Dave have the best snap change with the aces routines in the trilogy

It was called the Cardini Snap Change in the book 'Card Manipulations vol 1-5" which you can pick up cheaply on Amazon. Dan and Dave also give a good description of it on their 'Trilogy' DVD set.

The cardiNi change is when the double is on the deck and the top card goes under I think he was on about when the cards are directed at the spectator and change from one to other it's preformed in the jones change

As said previously Dan and Dave's explanation on 'The Trilogy' is very good, but check out Daniel Madison's excellent re-working of this great sleight!

Guy Hollingsworth goes over this change on his "London Collection" video, if you are lucky enough to get hold of a copy.

Time Magazines Person Of The Year 2006.
