Curses! Due to a booking foul up, I've been "up graded (sic)" to the Bedford just down the road. I wouldn't mind, but I booked at the start of March, buggrit, buggrem...

On the contrary, worth every penny!

I only became a member for this event and paid full price for the last two I went too, money well spent!

I think it's well worth it at full price. The real benefits are intangible, but they involve ideas, easy access to thinkers, and interesting new friendships. There are also a lot of offers to be had. Free, never-to-be-released lecture notes by Luke Jermay? Yes please!

Also how many lectures lead to you brainstorming in the pub with the lecturers afterwards?

That's very true. The lecturers come to the pub and stay until the bitter end. A couple of years ago, we were out with Banachek until 1am. Ditto Lennart Green, Luke Jermay, Ian Rowland, etc. etc.etc.

Once again thoroughly entertaining, with excellent lectures. Loved the ParaLabs stuff from Thomas and Rainer, the peek Bob uses in sneek thief is brilliant, the insight from Madelon, the unexpected lecture from Luke and the truly exceptional high energy delivery of Scott made for a truly excellent day. As always the after lecture events in the bar did not disappoint either, hypnosis, suggestion, bizarrism, drawing duplications and Tom laying on the floor, all followed up with some dancing to Iain and Neil's tunage - excellent!

Rainer performing "sponge balls" and "disappearing/reappearing salt" in the pub though was by far the highlight! :D

Blast it, I thought the highlight of the whole event was me busting a few moves on the dancefloor to "the Snake" by Al Wilson!
