So I was recently in London shopping around to get Ringmaster by David Jay as a kind of adjunct to the ring & string routines I've been practicing and nowhere had it. However in my continuing search online I chanced upon De'Ring by De'vo and I started to ponder which one might fit best into a finger ring based routine.
Also I really want to learn that gryphon roll.
Any opinions?

What ring do you usually use for your ring routine? Are you prepared to fork out more cash for a De'Ring style ring? Both are great, but from my experience De'ring is not magical to the spectator its more like wow how did he do that. Ringmaster is the same really, but I rarely perform Ringmaster. Matter of preference in the end. I do think ringmaster might have a more magical element to it then De'ring.

I wasn't aware that there was a specific type of ring used for the De'ring routine. For my ring and string practice I use a cheap mood ring but somewhere down the line it could be done with borrowed rings, but right now I'm still developing the routine for my own style so it's kind of open.

Well u can use other rings for De'Ring but there are reasons for the specific type. If you haven't got your own routine for your style yet. Then I'd say is ur presentation magic or skill? Mae I said before I do think de'ring looks like skill more than magic, to an extent
