I have some remarkably wonderful tricks for children for sale. I shall hunt out videos and links when I get to a real computer.
I think you will find them most informative

Also, if you are a Mark Lewis fan, the letter routine is a winner to start any kids show for ages 3-7.

For 12 to 20 children it's brilliant....in front of 80 or 90 children you like a God

Many years ago I came up with the idea of working with a larger envelope for the Letter thing and putting in a number of Pack Flat, Play Big type tricks of which there are many. Supreme had a lot of things along this line that could fit in an envelope. The idea was to do a long show with all the items coming out of one envelope. I got bored with my brilliant idea on the grounds that it was not terribly spectacular because kids like to look at props and it seemed very limiting.

However, just lately my good friend Jolly Roger has come up with a similar idea or at least he says he did. Unfortunately Paul Pacific is also laying claim to the idea thus irritating Roger no end. But now Potty the Pirate has chimed in and said that he invented the idea. And it has been reported to me that Magic Santa has also claimed the idea previously on the magic cafe.

Listening to them all is making me quite dizzy. Out of curiousity is there anyone else on here who has come up with this idea? I might as well stir the pot even more.

I am no longer able to tell if Mark is seriously offended by the process of magicians using each others material or is actually faking cynicism for the futility of attempting to control such material.

The rabbit hole got too deep.

Madam. I am a grafter. Grafters are probably the most cynical human beings on the planet. It is part of our DNA. Draw your own conclusions.

I also wish to state that I invented the Chinese Linking Rings. I am pleased to see how it has taken off in popularity.

I find that to be what's so funny about him, I always regard him as the David Brent of the forum, but his Letter Routine really works a treat, I kid you not, his Bongo hat routine isn't bad either :D

F@@k me...that had me doubled over this morning

Mark, David Brent was the main character in a series called the Office, which in my opinion is the greatest comedy of all time.
Brent's character was a branch manager and the show was filmed in a fly on the wall style, he was always using phrases like " yes, people do say I'm the greatest boss ever, whatever. Their opinion"

You should watch it Mark, 'twas very funny

We have an American version of that show over here. I never watch it. Or indeed television generally. Over here the incessant interruptions from commercials are horrific. It ruins the programmes. Far more frequent and incessant than in the UK. I think it is counter productive because less people watch television because of it and consequently there are less people to advertise to.

Out of interest, what is the synopsis of the letter routine? I'm interested in claiming it as my own.
