Trying to have a go-to trick FASDIU. For a layman, finding a lost *thought of* card is pretty much magic to them.

what would have a bigger appeal:

Lose/control card > Hotshot cut an indifferent card (joke/ act surprised) > top change & reveal in their hand or-
hotshot cutting their actual card.

Hi there. It really depends on the rest of your routine. If its part of something longer then either one would work. If its a stand alone piece the first scenario would be preferable in my opinion. The reason being that the cut, spin out and transformation is a magical effect, where as just cutting to their card is a display of skill - there's no magic there.

As I said though its all about context and really depends on the rest of the routine.

I have to agree with Jim, transformations always seem to have a huge impact especially if they are holding it when you supposedly do the switch....
