Espionage Wallet

Postby Johnny Wizz » Sep 26th, '12, 12:58

Has anyone had a preview of this product from Alakazam? The advertising sounds good (when did it not??) but the price is quite steep. I need a new wallet, mine is begining to tear in a critical place but my financial caution is preventing me preordering this.

I may be being a little bit ignorant but whenever I get an advert for a new wallet I delete it. Not because I think I know it all but because I don't want to be tempted by something else. I've got a stealth assassin and a himber wallet. Between them they do everything I could possibly want them to do. That said, I've got an email in my inbox about this new wallet so I guess I better check it out!! Damn it!!! :D

Yeah, that was my reaction. I presume that it has supernatural powers at that price!

As i will be doing some normal magic again soon (after getting the all clear for my elbow) i am very interested in this. I sold all my gear (apart from my magic DVDs) so i need a new wallet and as i will only be performing card magic this looks ideal.

Is it me or is this being touted as 'the best wallet since the Assassin wallet V1.1" which came out a few months ago & was billed as "the wallet of choice for many of the world’s top mentalists!" which was about a year after the F1 Nitro Wallet which was "a true multi purpose wallet for the working performer." ?

I know they probably have different ways to achieve slightly different effects & that it's good to have a choice of what to buy but the ad copy for all of them claim to be the greatest thing since a couple of months ago.

Hi,

I'm just back from a gig using this wallet, is it worth the price tag.......this will obviously depend on if you're going to use it or not. This is my second week road testing the Espionage Wallet, it does everything it says on the advertising, will it replace my JOL for the card to wallet, still undecided! The features I like about this wallet are, the Showgun principle, I love this and have come up with some effects along with Mark Bendell which can only be achieved using this principle. The internal peek, I really like this, some may argue that you have to go back to the wallet to get the peek, but it is so good you just change your presentation to fit. The inbuilt index, I use this for a Mark Elsdon effect combined with a thought reading effect using the internal peek, love it. I also use the card to wallet load, not as good as a JOL wallet but works very well, this is obviously just a personal opinion, some will like it as you can either palm or use it as a no palm way of loading a signed card. I've not used the SUC function, I use the brilliant internal peek. There are a few more things built into this wallet which I've not used as yet.

So yes, if you get as much use out of this wallet as I'm getting then it's very good value for money. You can also use it as your normal wallet as it's a bill fold hip style, sits nicely in jeans pockets.

I own the Alakazam's Infinity Wallet - for those who have seen this new Espionage Wallet - does it offer much improvement?

I'm perfectly happy with the Infinity Wallet and I've add my 3M magic from from worn out Outlaw Effects wallet - so it's like Infinity + 1 now :-)

Note that I also use a JOL wallet for card to wallet, which I know I'll never ever replace. My Infinity Wallet is mainly for my 'mentalism' style routines.

Cheers,

:D

I think you's have to be 'mental' to pay that price ;)

They thought the television was the best ever when it was brought out, then they came up with the colour TV, then flat screen, then..........
