Name: Quarks and Quirks, Ben Harris
Price:£17.99 special offer at Abrakazam
Type: Card Book

"This piece of literature is an absolute must for any magician who wants to take their magic to new heights" is a quote from a customer who purchased this masterpiece.
A journey beyond the tear, inspired by the weird world of Quantum Physics. In this superbly produced book, filled with photographs Ben Harris shares seven routines. Includes:

The Quarter Back Tear - A method for apparently tearing a card cleanly in half, while in reality, only tearing one quarter from the card. This can set you up as either being a "quarter ahead" or a "quarter behind".

Particle Vanish - A clean and complete vanish of a full playing card. Upon being torn into quarters, the card simply pops out of existence! You are 100% clean, the card is simply gone!

And much, much more!

Comments: I got this this morning and now my desk is covered with bits of playing cards, I obviously haven't performed any of the effects yet but I have seen a video of one effect (space oddity) at www.wowbound.com and if anyone else finds it as impressive as me then the book was worth it just for that one effect (note that the video shows a different handling to that in the book and I have spent at least an hour going over it slowly trying to work out exactly what is happening).

rating: 8/10 There are plenty of pictures, but their layout is not straightforward and it is annoying having to look at the key to find out which picture comes next.

I will add some more when I have perfected some of the effects and tried them out.
