Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

I'm male

I have an interest in star signs. [In the same way MatCult does]

My star sign is called………… Libra

My star sign is……………… the Scales

My star signs planet is………. Venus

My star signs element is ……. Air

My star signs birthstone is ……… Not sure. Sapphire rings a bell, but that might be the month.

The star sign most compatible with my star sign is ……… It had better be Pisces... (but I think it might be the other air signs, Gemini and Aquarius)

Star signs are also known as …… (list as many as you know) Sun signs, Zodiacs signs, Birth signs

Are there any other fact's about star signs I've missed (except the dates) ........ Signs can be Cardinal, Fixed or Mutable.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To avoid the confusion, could you not have said "My star sign is represented by...." instead of "My star sign is.."? When I first read the questions, I really wasn't sure which of the first two questions was answered by "Libra" and which by "the Scales".

Done.

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.

I am male, have no interest in star signs, but know I am a Taurus, which is represented by a bull. Beyond that I know nothing, and regard it all as bull. And I worked as a newspaper astrologer for five years. I suspect no male knows anything more than the star sign, and a lot don't even know that.

Yeah that's been my experience so far, and most women know their star sign, element and planet. This includes some women who I didn't expect to know this stuff, very atheistic / rationalist types, meanwhile I've talked to some spiritualistic men who don't know anything beyond their star signs name and animal.

I'll bet very few know the dates their star signs cover!

I'm male

I have very close to no interest in star signs.

My star sign is called Cancer

My star sign is represented by a crab

My star signs planet is? No idea.

My star signs element is Water?

My star signs birthstone is? Nope - don't know (nor care).

The star sign most compatible with my star sign is "There ain't no sign I'm not compatible with"

Star signs are also known as …… signs, birthstar?

Are there any other fact's about star signs I've missed (except the dates) What I know about star signs could be written on the back of a stamp.

Really? I thought sun signs and star signs were the same thing (I know nothing about moon signs). Also my studies say that Virgo's element is Earth and Libra's is Air, you seem to think differently. Could you expand on those two bits?

As I said in my post, IT DEPENDS ON YOUR SOURCE and the other thing I forgot to add is that it depends on the discipline in question, which form of Astrology a person is using. There's a huge contrast between the Hindu or Vishnu discipline vs. Horary and other more European versions.

I recently found a site that my interest you however -- http://www.astrologerofthetradition.co.za/Misconceptions%20about%20Astrology.html

I'm looking for an old site I stumbled across over a year back, that had definitions & comparisons of the more popular forms of astrology but have not managed to track it down as of yet. I would suggest that you include such searches however, if you wish to offer a more accurate assessment when it comes to your project.

I'm not a huge fan of Astrology because of the sometimes wide chasm of difference between the disciplines and too, like Numerology, there seems to be 1,000 ways by which to interpret and define the meanings and significance of certain influences. On the other hand, I've found those that are deeply vested into the Science and one key tradition to be able to present very accurate and compelling "reports". Such are very few and far between but then you have people like Linda Goodman, who can walk into a social situation and after talking to a person for less than 5 minutes, knows what their birth sign is and in many a situation, can name their ascendant. . . and no, she doesn't use pre-show of anagrams to do so, she's quite direct and gets paid seriously good money to do this regularly at both, private & corporate functions ( or did, in years past).

Whether you believe in astrology or not, the wide aspect as mentioned by Craig means it can be used to enhance many mentalism and darker effects. Even the Magic Circle uses signs of the zodiac in their logo and they know a good thing when they see it!
