Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

I have picked up a rather late booking for the evening of Valentines day. It is at my usual pub restaurant so I am ok with layout and ways of working but I don't have anything that I can think of that I could use as a Valentine themed trick. If possible I would like something where I could leave a little give away.
All suggestions will be very gratefully received.

Anniversary waltz is always the favourite for Valentine's Day or a rose production is always nice.

Didn't we have a brainstorming session a few years ago dreaming up effects with a lovey dovey theme? I seem to remember doing one called 'Sticky Love' which was nothing mucky, just the story of the love between two sticks - paddle moves galore!

I think I'd be going for things that'd involve a little fortune telling and predicting a happy romantic future... (If you have Kneppers "Patterns of a Rainbow Mind" it's a version of Gemini twins with a mini reading built in, and as it's two cards selected, it's great for two people)

Do you have Woody Aragon's book? there is a lovely effect with a "she loves me, she loves me not" theme. Of course the rest of the effect isn't very romantic (quite the opposite) but could easily be adapted...
Plus all of the spectators can take part and do the trick at the same time so you could make it all about them and what it means...

There is a lovely effect using a zener deck. Hand out a business card where you have pre-drawn two circles linked together and hand it out face down to a couple of love birds. A zener deck is produced and (insert method) lo and behold, after some protracted method of selection, both husband and wife end up selecting circles. You explain how the circle has no begining or end and therefore signifies eternity and unity etc etc I'm sure you know all this stuff anyway!. Since they both showed synchronicty you declare that they were clearly made for each other/destined to be together blah blah blah...... I appreciate this doesn't sound particularly romantic but it does play that way!!

I had totally forgotten about that book I was thinking of doing. I did start putting together a notebook with all the ideas for it in, I'll have to see if I've still got it. No idea if I have though, that would have been before we moved house and lots of my old notebooks went walkabouts during the move.

Following the advice from a number of contributors I bought Anniversary Waltz and used it as my main piece at my Valentines gig last night.
Thank you to all of you who recommended it, I love the effect and so seemingly do spectators. Every time I left the table one of both of them was trying to unstick the two cards!
But the trick that stole the show at every table? Same as always sponge bunnies!
