Postby FTHO » Jan 11th, '13, 16:45

Hey,

just a heads up that Tom Stone has made his ebooks available to buy for the next 2 days only (this is according to a post over at genii forum)

I was quite pleased as i was attempting to buy one of these a month or two ago...

Thanks! :)

I've just collected some of my Genii articles on misdirection (and other things) into two ebooks: "Scribbles 2009" and "Stonebound 2011", if anyone is interested.

I’ve had a look at three of Tom’s releases:

    Scribbles 2009
    Contents:
    The Obsessive Mantra
    The Notebooks
    In the Gaps, Magicians Reside
    Honesty and Deception
    ...and more

    The Liberated Djinn
Material salvaged from Genii Magazine July 2010
    Contributors:
    Peter Rosengren
    Michael Weber
    Gaetan Bloom
    Axel Adlercreutz
    Tomas Blomberg
    Pit Hartling
    John Carney
    Levent

    Stonebound 2011
    Writing on advanced
    Misdirection

It’s difficult to know where to start in describing these works , they’re a blend of (as it says!) articles from Genii magazine, tips, hints, thoughts, tricks, routines, explanatory vids and a whole lot more.

Like most people I’ve bought things in the past which are described as ‘thought provoking’ but the only thought they provoked was, ‘Why the hell did I buy this?’ I’m glad to report that Tom’s works are truly worthy, not only do they offer his thoughts and ideas they set you off on a thinking trail of your own. One of the mantras of magic is to perform your art in your own individual way but with the utmost amount of professionalism possible. These works will certainly help – check them out.
