I need some help...

Postby TheJokerKing » Feb 24th, '13, 07:12

I was thinking last night and thought that an interesting way to reveal a card trick would be to reverse-pickpocket my spectator...the only problem is I don't know how to do this without alerting him. Any assistance with how to pickpocket, reverse-pickpocket, or any materials on the internet (preferably free) that I could use to learn this for my act. Thank you very much.

Reverse pick-pocket? What, they pick your pocket without you noticing?

How about a card-loading wallet that the spectator puts in their pocket "For safe-keeping"? That way you get an extra level of impossibility: the card appears inside a wallet whilst the wallet is in their pocket. This would work with palm (Kaps) and no-palm (Mullica) wallets.

For an example of the latter, check out 'Pickup on South Street' from the Cardshark book/ DVD set.

No, instead of taking something out of their pocket, you put something in. Like I would put the card in a inside jacket pocket. The wallet sounds like it would also be a cool reveal, but theeffect I need requires me to do this to multiple spectators.

Only way to do this would be to learn how to pick a pocket, and reverse it. Plenty of books and dvd's on pickpocketing. Plenty of info in these pages alone.

How about card to any wallet. Also works well.
