I'm pretty certain, with a little time and imagination, it would be possible to come up with a use for the entire code.

A story, featuring a spy/secret code, and getting said code selected - seemingly at random - by a spec would pack rather more impact than the current, rather simple, card reveal.

Give it some thought - there's LOADS you could do with this!

Yes, I suppose. I just prefer the idea of my routine, it's quick, simple and to the point. Anyone can understand it.

No, I'm fine. Sorry if my post are coming across to you angry. It wasn't my intention or emotion.
What made you think that from my posts?

You come across rude and aggressive ...

I can't understand why people are getting this feeling.
I'm not angry or trying to be rude in any way, if people are misjudging what Iv'e posted then as I already said, I apologise.
If someone could explain why im giving this feeling, then please tell me because I'm puzzled?

I think that it is the tenseness of the replies and the fact that as a general rule people tend to respond to another poster in a typically British "thank you for that, I had considered it but it doesn't work for me" rather than the directness you have employed in your posts.
I mean no criticism, it is just that your posting style jars with the usual style here.

FWIW I'm not fond of printed revelations of any sort because they don't feel natural enough to me but I know others really like them so what do I know!

Well thank you and like I said I wasn't trying to sound that way. I guess that's just how I've always been so I apologies if anyone felt offended I didn't mean to.
I will take your point into consideration in future.

No worries, it is part of the problem of a purely text based medium!

You probably could apply the rest of the code somehow but if you've come up with an effect that you like and is working for you then I say well done and stick with it :D

There's a card gaffing technique called 'fading' (at least I call it that) where you can remove the ink from a card. There are two ways to do this, one is to get a large thick rubber and spend ages rubbing it vigorously (Btw I haven't been posted on the 'bingo' thread in a while), the other is to get a sharp knife (not as sharp as a cheese knife but sharper than a table knife) and gently scrape the ink off.

I've used both to remove the faces from the royal cards (because I'm a creepy psycho type) so it should be possible to remove the beginning of the code.

Anjorno, I have the same problem with my writing coming across as rude or short, It's worth reading through what you write a few times and check to see if anything you say can be misinterpreted as aggressive or rude, and when in doubt, point out you mean no disrespect (although don't say 'no offense' and then go right into it, that makes it worse).

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.

Thanks, thats a good idea. I will keep it in mind the next time I get a new deck.
By the way have you ever tried aresols like deodrant, they seem too get rid of the ink as well. maybe its the alchol, if thats the case maybe trying some alchol on its own just dabbed on some tissue may work. I should give it a try.

It might work I don't know, do give it a try, but the smell might linger.
