The Effect"Zoo Time" is a remix of the old favourite "Magic Coloring Book" by UK magician Julie Carpenter.
"Zoo Time is a brand new style of magic colouring book with 3 phases; line drawings, scribbled, and complete, plus the option of signing a picture that the helper transforms and takes home."There's videos on the website here:

2, at best. It's a magic colouring book.
ReviewThe magic colouring book is such an old trick that I'm sure many people have simply stopped using it. But it's a great principle that can genuinely baffle kids who've never seen it before. Julie's remake of it breathes some new life into it, starting with an un-coloured in colouring book (why would you buy a blank one?) and having some fun potential for banter with the audience from the first transformation being to some very naughty looking scribbling! There's a page signed and taken as a souvenir that then turns out after the second transformation to be beautifully coloured in. Combine this with David Kaye's suggestions for how to do a colouring book routine in "Seriously Silly" and I think you've a sure-fire winner.
My only tiny criticism is that the final pictures don't look like they've been neatly coloured in, they look like they've been printed in colour. But this is magical colouring in, I suppose!
OverallFor children's shows I'd give this a 9/10, it's something I use every time.
