Die Cypher 2

Postby reggiebrix » Feb 24th, '05, 13:29

Hi - I am new to this forum and am just looking for a little advice.
I have bought the Die Cypher and have heard of a technique to identify the number without anyone touching the canister - what is this?

There's a technique called "shadow reading" that will allow you to achieve what you asked. Personally i don't use it because in the time it takes me to take the object from the spec, and place it on the table I know what I need to know.

There is a booklet on shadow reading available from the chazpro site - the makers of Die Cipher2. Incidentally they also sell the ESP die without the cannister if you have one and want to experiment with the other...

I do like the die cypher effect but I think it's important for anyone considering buying it to know that it's not the easiest thing to get to grips with. I knew how it worked and I was still getting it wrong. Shadow reading is condition determined and in my mind is extremely difficult. Handling it properly requires a lot of practice but if you put the effort in you will be rewarded. Maybe it's just me but I found using it effectively to be quite challenging.
