Deep astonishment or Art of astonishment?

Postby AndyRegs » Feb 25th, '05, 10:26

Hi,
Having been given permission by the better half to spend some money, I was considering buying deep astonishment by paul Harris. I have read somewhere though, that there is a very similar effect in his 'art of astonishment vol3'.
Is it worth splashing out a little extra cash and buying the book, or not?

Buy the book.

Deep Astonishment—although an amazing effect—is paled into insignificance by the book.

The book DOES NOT contain the effect, however, as the effect relies heavily on several gaffed items which even a patient DIYer would struggle to do.

But, I can vouch that the book is definately value for money.

Thanks,
I will get the book. I have been led to believe that the third volume was the best of the three. Would this be correct, as I can only afford one. The rest of my 'pocket money' is likely to go on Get Nyman!
Cheers

OK, advice?

Get the Nyman DVDs first :)

Then, save up and get all 3 A-O-A

lol

If I had a choice between any of the volumes, it would have been Vol 2 personally, but there ya go.

The value of Art of Astonishment as a SET is immense. There's a lot of cross-linking between the volumes. Then again, I'm a book fiend, and it's probably more a case of OCD with me lol
