OK...Just bought this has red, blue, and red/blue gimmick. Instructions suck and shop owner had other customers so I didn't ask to be shown after I bought it. Just can't figure out where to tie blue silk to....well, where? Please help and thanx! If no help I'll just have to drive 45 miles at end of week to find out :(

Petros, please read the title of the thread.

You'd be amazed at what you can find out by simply paying attention... maybe even using the search function...

if i understand you correctly then the blue silk you vanish and the blue silk ends up tied between the two.
one little tip when you assemble the gimmick put the tab in the knot to stop it going of prematurley, it will take an extra tug but will apear all the better for it.

arlsdaddy: Whilst we all sympathise with you over less than useful instructions (!), please bear in mind that we can't tell you how to do other people's tricks in an open Forum - the inherent secret is theirs and theirs alone to reveal. Some TM members may have this effect and may be able to offer tips and advice but only in general terms, I'm afraid.

What might help is a description of what you are supposed to see. You should be able to work it out from that, but if not, then Mandrake's right and we can't explain the exact method.

The magician shows two silks, usually the same colour (for example red). These two silks are knotted together at one corner. They are then draped over the back of a chair, put into a hat, tucked into a glass, with the knots out of sight.

The magician then vanishes another silk of a different colour (white or blue). Where's the silk gone?

The magician walks over to the knotted silks and grabs one in each hand. He pulls his hands apart, showing that the vanished silk is now tied between the other two. The blue silk has travelled invisibly to the knotted silks and has also tied itself between them.
