I have two brand new Ultra Violet Appearing canes, oooh.

Is there any difference between the appearing / disapperaing ones?

I'm guessing i have to store them closed, seeing as they gave me a small box, and not a large one.

I have top wax the cane - to avoid scratching - anyone know how often i should wax it? I presume just before i use it, unless anyone knows diffenrent?

Anyone else got appearing canes? How have you used them? Any clever applications?

Anyone know where i can get the candles from, aswell? Are they difficult to use?

I'm trying to make a short manipulation act, but i don't want much card manipulation in there, you see. Any tips? Advice? What else could go in there?

In general, the appearing ones shouitd be stored open and the disappearing ones stored closed. If they're metal then I'm told that a silicone wax is best and car wax is great. Mine are he plastic Fantasio ones which don't need lubrication but they're always stored as mentioned above and a quick squirt of Mr.Sheen and a rub down with a rag (ooo-er!) are all that's needed for smooth operation.

i do a nice routine with a black silk and a white silk that change into a silk with a wand printed on it then to a full sized cane

try a misers dream sequence then spelbound change coin to ball follow ball routine by changing to sponges ie pull a sponge ball off of a red ball, split that into two and so on hope that helps.

Using a disappearing cane and an appearing rose you can start with apparently empty hands bar the cane. tap the cane around demonstrating solidity. The rose in your hand is concealed until as the cane disappears you simultaneously let the rose unfurl. Steal the cane to your pocket while allowing spectators to view the rose.
