Magicians who when in Blackpool, visited Bill Thompson's 'House of Secrets' before he passed away last year, may be interested to know that Paul Zenon, Russ Stevens, Steve Cameron and a few more of Bill's friends have arranged a commemorative show at Blackpool's Winter Gardens at 7pm on Saturday 31st August. Tickets are £15, OAPs half-price, and proceeds will go to The Wonderbus charity, which takes older folks from homes and sheltered housing out to see shows and events - like this one!

Dave Spikey, Steve Royal,Paul Zenon, Mark Raffles and James More (recent BGT semi-finalist) are among those appearing. If YOU are in the Blackpool area at the end of August do make an effort to come. Bill was one of the nicest men in magic and we want to see a full house in The Pavilion Theatre for this event. check out the Facebook Group, 'House of Secrets' for more info.

Mark Raffles? I could swear someone told me that he had passed away some time ago. Does he have a son with the same name?

Mark Raffles is alive and well and still performing at 94! It's only a couple of years ago that he was featured in Las Vegas! I see him fairly regularly in town. I'll give him your best wishes!

Oh, I don't think he knows me. Still, I am glad he is alive and kicking. As a matter of fact I have been viewing his DVD lately.

He usually attends the Blackpool Convention each year and is a very popular character.

Mark is a committee member of Blackpool Magicians Club, so is often 'on duty' at the event!
