Postby imagination_4_3 » Mar 29th, '05, 11:26

Hello one and all! My name is Andrew and im 18 from Kent. Ive been practising magic on and off for a few years. I recently watched faking it which i read on a fourm on here so have alot of others. I supose it made me realise how much i enjoyed performing magic. regardless of being a pretty much newbie to the magic world. i supose i was drawn back to the excitment of seeing the expressions of  on peoples faces when you pull off a pretty impressive trick. needless to say after perfoming it myself quite rightly looking  that i managed to do it correctly lol That and well.. girls love magic lol :P anyway i shall probably be popping up a bit around in the fourms so i shall speak to u on the other side :) farwell!

Im mostly into card magic and learning slight of hand. And card manipulation like cutting the deck with one hand etc. i supose im drawn to the way its up close and personal magic that if done right can leave people more stunned then say.. making a person disapear on stage.
what about yourself what kind of magic you into?

Faking it re kindled (sp?) my interest in magic. when i saw it was coming on a few days before it did, i broke out the old pack of cards and started practising again lol much to my familys bordem  lol
i enjoyed the big trick he performed at the end of his act where he got the ring back through the guys stomache lol very funny with the add lib.

yer! i have done that trick before. Always good for a laugh. I used to take one of those novelty notes (i had some made with my face and booking details on) and change it into real money.

The patter was "some people think that the ability to perform magic is a license to print money" (show my novelty note)"well it is!" (perform trick). Always gets a laugh.

Or reverse the process and turn a real note into a novelty one ("you have been a great spectator so i will give you a twenty pound note!")
