Hello everyone, I have always had an interest in magic from a young age but have never got any further than buying a few packet tricks and performing them very badly! I am looking to really get into magic in a big way as I am a very confident person and would find the acting and performing part of magic less difficult than the technicalities of any trick. My main intrest is in card magic and I have just begun the long Journey that is the Royal Road to Card Magic. I look forward to meeting you all, sharing ideas, experiences and most of all enjoying what we all share an interest in. Bye for now

Hi , welcome to Talk Magic 
This is a good book to start with, although the instructions can be a tad unclear at times. I wish you all the best luck with your card magic. You will have a lot of fun learning the various techniques.
