Have you watched any videos showing how to do it? If not, i reccomend watch one- theyre quite good- you might be missing something. Also, its worth practicing in front of a mirror for a good while before showing it to people-it takes some time to master

The Raven DVD is well worth watching, it has some really good ideas. The two main problems that people normally have with the raven is the 'click' when a coin vanishes or the problem about smooth operation. The Raven is really the kind of thing you need to practise really well before you even think about performing it in public. You should practise it in front of a mirror or even film yourself doing it. This will allow yourself to see what the audience can see.

Of course it is also essential to have the raven set exactly right to suit you, i have noticed that even a small error in setting it can result in the problems you are probably having. Are you 100% sure that you have the 'settings' right for it?

the dvd will show you a few alternate hookups and some hand moves which will improve your raven work no end, i prefer the no sleeve set up and have even done the belt version.

the belt version from the dvd is probably the hardest to use and is best used with a reel raven, theres also a higher chance of discovery.

Do the stores still save the raven deluxe pack? think it comes with the reel and video?
