wheres the best place to get a close up mat from?

i need one big enough for cards.

I can't remember where I go mine, but I know Card Collection have a good selection. No pictures though.

please excuse my ignorance but what are the benefits of a close up mat?

There are many benefits, from making it easier to pick up coins and cards (whether discretely or in full view) to dulling asounds and even just to look good.

I have a small one about 10" by 5" (sorry, I'm pre decimilisation) !!! Its dark red in colour and rolls up and goes in my inside jacket pocket. It stops your playing cards from picking up unwanted friends like spilt beer, food etc Oh, it also looks a tad more professional too
