Have a look at http://www.blackpoolmagic.com/ - I think the gala party is an extra £10 including food.

Correction - the Gala Party tickets are £12 which is in additon to the Gold Card fee for everything else of £68.00. Those figures are current 'cos my tickets arrived today - Yeeeehaaaaah!!!!!
(sorry, just a weeny bit excited about the prospect of experiencing another 2.1/2 days of solid, almost non-stop magic  )

Blackpool 2005 was a full evening until well after midnight on Friday; from 10.00am until again well after midnight on Saturday; and almost the same again on Sunday. All the while there were dozens of dealer stalls tempting you to part with your cash plus demos and lectures from the skilled and famous names in International magic. I know £80.00 plus accommodation, travelling etc sounds like a lot of cash but it's well worth every penny and it's a unique experience which is, as they say, the Biggest Magic Convention in the World. Just make sure you remember to find time to eat occasionally. Blackpool 2006 promises to be even bigger and better so I may just go into the statis chamber and not wake up until Feb 23rd 2006 - enough time to pack and get on the road North I think!

A gathering is a good idea but we'd have to bear in mind that there is very little free time away from the events. In some cases it's not possible to see/do everything as some events clash so tough choices have to be made. Best guess might be a swift lunch together!

Tickets are available right up to the weekend of the Convention but the Gold cards which get you into everything apart from the Sunday evening show usually sell out well before then. If anyone only wants to be there for one day then it's possible to buy tickets at the Winter gardens for individual days and/or events such as the evening stage shows but the total cost of the wekend would be much more expensive that way. Have a look at http://www.blackpoolmagic.com/ and the download forms for all the latest details.

A TM gathering lunch might be a strong possibility - Harry Ramsden's Fish & Chip Shop is just down the street!
