Can someone tell me the name of this packet trick, and where it can be purchased, please.

http://www.santoalt.com/videos/card_trick.php

I have previously bought stuff from Supreme and Repro. Do either/both of them sell it?

It isn't a packet trick as it's performed with regular cards. The trick itself doesn't have a name, but rather a "routine" which can be varied at the whim of the performer - making it more or less complicated, depending upon which moves are used. Here it's performed by utilising techniques that are "bread and butter" of card magic.

Hrmm....

mods: I understand if you want to delete this.

I noticed a lot of Elmsleys and DLs. Not quite sure where you saw a snap change though :S.

Not sure about the kings...could be a d***** s**** s***** t*** situation or might be a lot of ascanios. Either way, he's quite good at them.

If you really want to know how this is done you'll need to know:

A Flustration count
A DL
An elmsley Count
A triple lift
And a move which I don't know the name of, but think along the lines of a Mexican Turnover and what that achieves.

(not neccessarily in that order)

Sorry, but I can't name the actual effect.

well well one out of three's not bad for a non cardie and you should be able to get most if not all from a card slieght book or a dvd so thats you covered then glad we could help.

PS There may also be an add on move in there somewhere but I'm not sure.

It's quite an interesting challenge to see a routine and then dissect it back to the setup to reproduce it, isn't it?

I do it all the time on Penguin demo videos shh...don't tell anyone :).

e.g. I didn't buy Renegade because it's no clever principle or anything...just the shuffle...

the routine is called the "jumping gemini" by Darwin Ortiz and can be found in both the "At the card table" books and video/dvd, its also on one of the easy to master card miracle videos i think? there is no snap change in the routine whatsoever but there is a gemini count

I think Gregory Wilson has his own version of this on Double Take...

This is a very good routine. I like his handling and the kicker ending. I will have to learn this one.

If your talking about the guy on the original posts link, then I think his ending is the standard for the trick, although I must say his turn over of the kings stinks!!! I don't think he is using the Gemini count! If he is, he is doing it weird!

I use Jumping Gemini all the time and it's a great trick! But I prefer my own ending! :)
