No table card routines

Postby Relish » Jan 5th, '14, 16:27

Ive been asked to do magic at a good friends wedding, and it was only after agreeing that i realised that most of the routines i know need a table.

I have an ID and the extractor, and was planning a triumph and a force and mind reading reveal, but would anyone reccommend any other routines that can be done standing with a regular deck?

My ability is quite good, although doesnt stretch to a perfect faro.

Cheers

Have you ever tried a multiple revelation. Vanishing inc have a a good DVD on the multiple Revelation Project it is excellent. They teach Aldo Collumbini's fireworks control which is easy to do. You may not have enough time to get this and practice but it is fantastic.

It may sound generic, but if you come up with a decent ambitious card routine (utilising the extractor and maybe an omni deck?) then thats a pretty good grounds to start.
Else how about a rope routine? Maybe use the amb card that Daryl does and mix the 2 together?

Otherwise, you could go down the mentalism route and use mini props from the table to read minds?

Just throwing out ideas for you to go crazy about :)
