Spell Binding Boxes gimmick

Postby GeoJones » Mar 28th, '14, 21:08

Hey everyone

I know it's a bit of a long shot but I was wondering if anybody knew of where/a way I could get my hands on the gimmick for the Spell Binding boxes trick. I have all of the trick except for the vital part. Just for clarification, Spell binding boxes is the trick where the spectator signs a coin, the coin is then wrapped up and then spectator holds the wrapped coin and then it disappears from there hands and appears in the boxes (a box within a box within a box within a box).

Thanks
George

There is quite a few nest of boxes. But if it is the simple or basic one you can get one in the Jiffy Coin trick which is only a few dollars. Needless to say if it is more involved nest of boxes then it becomes a little more difficult.

I initially thought the missing gimmick would be the same as for the Jiffy Coin Trick, but I Googled Spellbinding Boxes and I think that they work like the old multi-coloured Tenyo nest of boxes, which is a different gimmick entirely. Short of being very lucky and finding one up for sale without boxes, you might have to buy the trick again (you will have a second set of boxes as spares) or maybe you can find someone who could make the gimmick. Bearing in mind the price mr invisible quoted, I suspect buying the trick again is going to be quicker, easier and cheaper.

Okay I also looked it up, that was actually nested brass boxes. The gimmick is much different. There is infact the tenyo version which is exactly the same as the brass version only it is in plastic so the gimmick may work. The reason why I say "may work" is that the Tenyo version is thicker than the brass version so it may not be as 'snug'.
