Product Name: Ring Flight

Approx Cost: £35
Difficulty. 1 -2 (pretty easy to do, pretty hard to do well - like all magic)!
Rating: A must for every magic routine/collection. No matter what you do, there's a space that this trick can fill. Even if you do cards, reckon this will work as ice-breaker (especially good on engagement and newlyweds).

This trick has several variants (depending on how much you want to pay!). As ever, you get what you pay for>

At its base level control appeared to be a little haphazard (I've heard of people losing the thread so to speak and decided that I'd splash out a bit for something up-market.

The trick consists of taking a ring from a member of the audience and then the hand is shown to be empty (ask the person if they know where the ring is, because you haven't a clue!). There are a few variants that can be added here - ring into envelope and envelope burnt, etc. but essentially, no matter what you use to embellish - the ring has gone.

There follows some patter about keys and taking your key pouch from back pocket, you open it and among the keys - one ring.

A ring is always the key to someone's heart so why not have it there?

This is a great trick - the transitions and the potential for patter, the unexpected (especially if you're not too corny) reaction from you and the surpise from them is great.

One word of advice - get a brake, don't work too hard (You'll understand if you decide to get this trick, take a look at the versions on offer and all will be clear).

Have fun,

Vic

One bit of advice I got told and always stick to...

DONT repeat DONT use a ring with stone settings! As you say a ring is often very important to people, they wont be pleased if they get their ring back minus a diamond etc.

Its a great effect though, and one I use a lot!
