What do you like better, Cups and Balls or the 3 Shell Game?
What would you recommend and why?

Definitely cups and balls, as there's so much more possible in this routine than just making specs guess where the ball is. You can't produce an orange or even a lime from a shell, can you?

This is an illogical question since both effects are totally different from one another.
The shell game, is a guessing game in which the spectator guesses which shell the pea is under.
Secret Manipulation is bought into play, to ensure that the audience is always wrong.

In the cups, they are aware that the ball moves from cup to cup, always under the magicians control.
It may be true, as I have suggested before, that the cups derived from the shell game, or vice versa.
But as they are now…Totally different.
