Hello there,

Yesterday, I posted a link to my recently published book and returned today to find it had been blocked. I'd be interested as to why this post was locked, when the book is fully relevant to the people who frequent this forum? Do any of you have any better ideas for spreading the word about my work?

Anyway - about me...

I'm a fan of simple, engaging, intimate magic - as opposed to illusions and stage magic, for example. The magic of magic, for me at least, is in tricking someone with a concept so terribly simple that the method is better than the trick itself. Magic is often overly complex and too gaff heavy for my liking - I prefer a more natural style of magic.

It's difficult to pin-point the exact type of magic enjoy most, but as a general rule of thumb; if it involves elaborate props, gaffs, skimpy ladies and men dressed in suites then I'm unlikely to enjoy it.

I'm a nice guy - promise.
