new cardician here

Postby newtestleper » Jun 2nd, '05, 17:52

Hey people
My name is Jay and I'm 18, I've had a passion for magic for a number of years but only over the past year or so have I really got into it. My main forte is cards and am looking to get into manipulations and flourishes, anyone who can suggest anything I'd be extremely grateful.
Stay cool.
-Jay-

Hi Newtestleper and welcome to TM.

Not a cardie myself (well, I do the basics) but I'm sure that you'll find much to keep you occupied on this site.

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Welcome to TM Jay. if you want to get into flourishes and the like a good place to start is with the Jeff Mcbride DVD's. These go from a simple fan to some quite difficult stuff. You can get these from most online Magic shops or if you have a magic shop near you then pop down and see if they have them they'll probably be able to give you a bit of advice as well.
