impossible card predictions

Postby kaala » Nov 18th, '14, 09:20

You put one card on the table. You ask your participant to merely think of a card and boom, they match. Just had success with this twice in a row. First i did a psychological force i learned from bob cassidy, but knowing that my participant has some know how how it can be done and is quite sceptical, i knew she wouldnt go for the queen of hearts that easily. So i went for 7 of spades. She was stunned, coz there was no mambo jambo, just one prediction and they match. She was sceptical and i thought i could do it again. This time, i told her im projecting the most unusual card to her and asked her what image she was getting. It also matched with the card i put down earlier (it was the 4 of clubs of course).
Anyone ever had success with this before? I know DB has a nice routine a little similar with 2 persons and I have my own version which i use in my card opener, but none of them quite close to anything that clean where you put a card on the table and you make the spectator name it.

It might be worth mentioning that there is a great out for when you miss in Hector Chadwick's book. Definitely worth a look.

The only think vaguely close I have is Anate which I downloaded a while back, I have never used it yet tho other than trying it on my girlfriend once. Of course she said Ace because I never eliminated them first in my half assed first effort. I got hold of Kollosal Killer too as a handy out but have found that getting a wallet to work with this...with enough space and pockets that looks natural and easy tyo get to what you want to find in it is a little tricky so I've never used either yet. Sounds great tho. I'll have to look into it. It would go down a treat with the tricks I do so far!

You might want to take a look at Colin McLeod's Opening Minds DVDs, there's a really nice equivoque card force on there that I really like.
