Hi there!

Has anybody tried the "Aerial" photo of Multimap? It's dead cool. 5 point if you can tell me who lives here .

Well if you'd stood outside and waved when the photo was taken, we could have seen you!

I have to say that is pretty neat. I never knew Multimap did that.

(I just want to know who the guy my wife is chatting to is!)

If you think THAT is cool, download THIS...

http://earth.google.com/

It is not FULL resolution for all UK areas yet, but, for instance, key 'London, UK' into the search and zoom right in.

Technology is amazing!

The NASA one is also pretty good
http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/

It has a lot of different sources so you can change the type display to the one that suits you best. It also has a great tilt feature, so that once you have drilled in you can tilt the map and get a really neat (do we still say neat?) 3d image.

I haven't downloaded those two as I am at work, but I was slightly disturbed by the fact that my place of work is clearly visible at reasonable resolution on multimap, you can even make out my building.

I'll tell you what. Give us the postcode then lean out the window and wave and we will see if we can see you :)

Hmm, I think there is a fair chance that I would get into a lot of trouble for giving out the postcode in a thread with links to arial photos!
