Hello,

Raven X2 is basically a Raven, but with two 'you-know-whats' instead of one.

Its possible to do switches with this. Bent key being one trick you can perform.

Hope this helps a little.

Not sure if its the same size or not, as I havent got a Raven 1.

Maybe someone can shed some light on this?

Cheers

nearly twice the size surprisingly but no real diference with concealing it as its not suposed to be seen.
surely you can do switches with the origional and dont need the extra bulk.

Cant see why not, but it was a case of C.U.P.S a few weeks ago, and just got X2 cos it looked 'cool'. Also thought newer = better :?

I don't own the original only the X2 so I don't know the relative sizes but if you are doing switches I'd guess the X2's larger size may make it less likely that the two objects would audibly clatter into each other at the crucial moment, if you know what I mean.

My lemon is about an inch across...that's a Raven 1. I don't really see the need for two lemons - I mean, I can switch a 2p for a 10p easily enough by having the 10p underneath the lemon - if that makes any sense.

You wait till the aardvarks get involved, that's when it gets really messy (plus, hopefully no-one has a clue what we are talking about).

You need to vanish the aardvark with the lemon, by using the preprepared aardvarked lemon, then take a (real) lemon and aardvark the lemon, then lemon the aardvark, then, aardvarking, lemon the...OK, I've stopped.

Well, almost:

You'd need to use a much more convincing aardvark than that though, no-one would ever be taken in!

A new routine -
Method:
1. Take one medium sized aardvark (or a convinient Womble)

2. Take one small lemon (must be small!)

3. Cover aardvark with a blue silk

4. Place lemon under silk

5. Remove silk - and lemon has disappeared - wow!

Secret:
1. KY the lemon before the performance

2. make sure the aardvark is facing the audience.

3. When the silk is over the aardvark, with the lemon in your right hand, quickly insert into the aardvarks *ahem*

First time you do this the aardvark might bite, but with a bit a training he'll be taking it like a man in no time

Rob

p.s. Early in the morning, hence the nonsense
