Just to set the record straight, very few TM members really brag about what they do but they sometimes have a laugh and joke about things which may appear to be a similar thing. Proper magicians don't brag, they just get on with the magic and let the audiences be the judge.

The main reason we don't give out secrets is that they aren't ours to give out - they belong to the inventors of the trick and we can't steal them any more than we could steal their physical possessions. If any member here has developed their own trick or routine then they would be quite free to share the details with anyone they choose.

The best way to get such secrets is to buy them from reputable suppliers -they aren't all that expensive and will last a lifetime. Hope that helps,

That was a great vid your misdirection is flawless I'm supprised the mods havent removed your video yet because anyone could perform that trick now anyone else gonna show us how to do a trick? I might but togeter a video tonight for a bit of fun!

I have a fantastic coin through table I'm working on.

The problem is finding a drill bit large enough to make a suitable hole for the coins to fall through and I feel leaving a hole in the table afterward might be a bit of a giveaway afterwards!

Still, it works well if the audience have the right viewing angles (I find the next room is good, especially if they had a good table before the trick!).

Thanks for the video, have been up all night practising and can do it without the cards now.

Vic - (I'm risking exposure here and my being reprimanded but here goes anyway) what you need to do is cut the hole out and create a "plug" which is marginally smaller than the hole. Get a fine hinge and spring which you fit to the table and plug beneath the table (so it acts like a cat flap). The table and plug are painted the same dark colour and make sure that there's a fringe around the edge of the table. You'll need a little misdirection but it should work fine.

BTW, this is my own invention but folks have my permission to pass on this gem (but not for pecunary gain!) providing it's attrributed to me.

Better go get myself ready now for a beating by the Mods for this exposure.
