The System or Generation Xtreme?

Postby stevebo » Jul 9th, '05, 13:16

Which one should I buy?

I think Generation Xtreme may be too hard to learn. The System however has sleeker moves. So I think I might buy The System.

But I thought I'd ask my fellow forumers for advice! :D

Hi Stevebo. I've never heard of these before and perhaps others haven't a clue what you're on about.

How about some more info to describe what they are?

Sorry.

These are both flourish DVDs. The Buck Twins are very famous and this is their DVD.

This is Brian Tudor's Generation Extreme

I just read the reviews of the System and they say that there is no apparent instructions in how to do the flourishes. I hope you know how to do simpler ones before buying this :)

Good luck

I thought as much but still worth asking

Doesn't seem good value to buy a DVD to watch flourishes when they are not taught :? - as impressive as I find them

That is true, however, Brian Tudor's Generation Extreme is quite poor in instructions also. Brian Tudor isn't the best of teachers. I would probably prefer teaching with no talking than very, very poor teaching.

I just watched the trailer for this and was already bored before it ended.

He's a very impressive card handler but I think it would be near to impossible to learn these moves without some very good teaching of the techniques.

You'll probably entertain yourself more than you would entertain and audience with what you get out of this title. I'd use the practice time to work on your magic techniques.
