Hi. Does anyone have this?
If so, could you let me know what you think?
Thanks.

I borrowed it from a friend the a while ago. I didn't have the time to read it properly (it's something you need to own I would think), but it's very good. I think any hypnotist would recommend it and I've heard really good reviews - so much so that I was tempted to buy it until I saw the price. My interest in hypnotism is just an interest - and so I couldn't justify it.

What's the content of the book? Do you learn anything, or?

It teaches you a lot - starts from the beginning and builds on it with a number of practical exercises. The trouble with hypnotism, I find, is finding someone to try it all out on. I suppose it's the same with a lot of things - but a lot of hypnotism revolves around your confidence - and to start with that's tricky. But the book teaches you how to deal with it as well. I'd say that if you're serious about stage hypnotism, this book is prbably a must - based on the reviews I've seen other hypnotists give it.

Taneous,
I think you have gotten this book confused with 'Encyclopaedia of Stage Hypnotism' also by Ormond McGill. The book I was talking about is £13 from amazon (follow the link in my first post). Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm almost sure you got them mixed up. I have also considered buying 'Encyclopaedia of Stage Hypnotism', but at £40, I don't think it's justified, as I just have an interest in hypnotism aswell. That's why I was wondering about the less expensive book.
