Chop Cup

Greetings.

I am hoping as the consummate noob that this is posted in the right thread.

A few years ago I was fortunate enough to have a brief meeting of the minds with Stephen Elve (go canada go! ) He was true professional and a fantastic mentor and he provided me with a chop cup and a great book by Merlyn T. Shute from Morrissey Magic (Toronto) and is from the 80's. It was a fantastic book to get me going.

I am wondering now if others are familiar with this book and if there are other recommended resources for routines, loads, and the like.

It seems as though this prop would be open to a lot of possibility.

Thanks in advance,

S

Ron Bauer recently authored and published a booklet entitled "The Complete Don Alan Chop Cup". It details Don Alan's handling of the Chop Cup and also his routine. It also contains an interesting history from Alan's point of view. This booklet really is an amazing resource for the Chop Cup student and is whole heartedly recommended as there are plenty of detailed and thorough tips within its pages.

All the best,

Will Wood
