Bought a book by Jean Hugard

Hey people. :)

Today I went out to Greenwich market and found an old book store. The moment I saw it I knew there would have to be some good old books about magic in there.

There were a few, but only one interested me. 165 CARD TRICKS & STUNTS - BY MASTER MAGICIAN JEAN HUGARD. Upon flicking through it I knew I'd learn a lot from it.

I paid my £4 and took it home.

This book has some seriously amazing moves in it. It's far better than The Expert (I'm fully aware that The Expert is more than just a book, so you understand what I mean here).

I am currently trying to get the One Hand Top Card Palm down the way I want it, and am having a lot of trouble with it. But practice makes perfect.

Skeen,

I have that book too. I remember picking it up in a bookshop, and getting a free deck of cards with it.

The book itself is actually a reprint of the first 2 chapters of Jean Hugard's Card Manipulations book, published by Dover. He has another one out called More Card Manipulations too.

You should look into buying them if you like the look of the book you bought... there's lots of good stuff contained in them.

Cheers,
