Exam Results (!)

Postby mistress of magic » Aug 9th, '05, 09:52

Haven't posted in a while but it's been one thing after the other with exams and grans and stuff. However, today, a rather large envelope appeared at my door So, results of higher exams are-
Human Biology- B
Chemistry-B (not sure how that one happened at all, the only thing I thought I'd answered right on that one was my name)
Latin-C
English-C
Philosophy-C
So am reletively chuffed at passing them all. However, I made a deal with one of my pals that if I passed at least two of them I'd go and see that bloody herbie film ( ) with him (felt quite sorry after he said his gran wouldn't even go and see it with him).
Now, back to the Elmsley count...

admit it... you WANT to go and see herbie...hehe just remember.. if he tries to sit in the back row or yawns theatrically and just happens to rest his arm across your shoulders then the best thing to do is "accidently" spill some juice over him.. (aint i a stinker?)

oh and congrats on the results :)

Nah a C was always a pass it was a D that was a fail.

Congrats on the result that were no doubt well earned.

It could be worse in that if you didn't pass two exams you may have had to go and see it twice

Gotta dredge my memory for this, but school starts in September over here, and goes through till about July. In the UK we only get 2 breaks, one for Xmas and one for Easter, 1 week for each.

When I were a lad we started at 9am till 3:30pm. Lunch was at 12:30pm, and we had daily compulsory canings at 10am. 3 days off for Xmas, 3 days for Easter, and forced-labour camps for the Summer holidays

Most weeks there'd be a fight at the school gates at hometime, rugby would be played in the Wintertime, and when it was hot weather, we'd do indoor sports. If any kit was forgotten, you had to do sports in your underpants.

Kids these days have never had it so easy!

That said, they were the best days of my life...
