My favorite ripped and restored card trick is torn by daniel garcia. What is your favorite? which version takes the least set up and requires no palming.

I like torn, too. Only recently invested in this one. Previous to this, I used Gared Crawford's "Unripped". This was good, but a little *too* gimmicky for me. Torn, in my eyes, is just perfect.

Never used Seamless, Unripped was ok. I just thought it was quite... I dunno.. just a bit of a chew on. Also didn't *really* like the idea of having the card "fully" restored. I'm a huge fan of handing the signed card out at the end =oD

I doubt you will find one that takes less set-up than Torn =o)

involves little moves here and there.

I agree with Symtal on this one. Torn takes very little setup, it's a nice routine, and the card can be handed out at the end for the spectator to keep.

You can even walk with a few 'setups' if you're planning on performing Torn for several different people.

I've read about the other effects, but I think Torn wins it for being easy to handle, and for the specs, it's pretty visual, especially restoring that last piece.

Cheers,
