At present, I am working on palming techniques, and related effects. This is gonna take some time until I can carry it off smoothly enough to perform for specs. I would hate to be caught in the act!...

So can anyone recommend further routines which don't involve palming? I primarily want ungimmicked, but I have a deck of them if need be. Tricks I do so far are:-

Ambitious Card, Impossible Transpo, 2 Card Monte, Biddle Trick, Twisting Aces & Torn. I also do a severely modified "Torn but not forgotten", which is a lot more visual..

Any thoughts?

Allan Ackermans 76 trick is a 3 stage revelation effect with an impossible ending. no palming but there are quite a few sleights but entirely ungimmicked...one of my personalr fave effects..there may even be a vid of it in the file sharing bit :)

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music. - Kristian Wilson, Nintendo, Inc, 1989..

karl fulves self working books.
The absolute pinacle of easy sleightless magic.
but be warned, though the effects are not difficult to do, they need a great deal of skill to perform.

if you want to know how good the stuff is in these books, then watch Derren browns last series.
there was at least one effect that is published in table magic. If its good enough for him, its good enough for anyone.

I agree with Dale that the Karl Fulves books are a great buy and they are not expensive either, averaging about £9 each from memory.

Lilke most things - it's in the presentation!

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
