According to our friends at Magicweek:
Stephen Mulhern launches Tricky TV, a new magic series, at 4pm on Monday 5th September on ITV1. The first in the series includes: A life-size model gorilla that comes alive and scares visitors at a wildlife park. Jennifer Ellison is amazed by a flying card trick. Stephen attempts to create a dream come true for a class of pupils, there's a chance to join "The Secret Circle" and there's a mesmerising performance from a Young Magician.
There is at least one TM member who has a passionate affection for this chappie and will, no doubt, be overjoyed at the news  !

i dont think that he should be allowed to do tricks on tv
because he spoiles the mystiry of some tricks
and vertually all of the tricks he does which he doesn't explain involve camera tricks

no offence ment

In Tricky TV, he shows you how to do tricks that none of us would really do anyway.

Hello to you all that have made time to comment on the subject of me still doing magic on TV!

I am very pleased to say and make the TV audience aware that yes I am still doing magic on screen aswell as stage, this also hope will continue for a long time to come!

I honestly have a love of magic and have done from the age of eleven when my Dad became my tutor and mentor! I have never replied to any forum until now but have really enjoyed reading your comments and now open up the chance for you all to ask any question or give any criticism to anything you have seen on Tricky Tv or indeed anything you feel worthwhile hearing my comments on!

For those of you that have never seen Tricky Tv which is my new TV series that I have co-written and produced it is on CITV every Monday at 4.00, I am really happy with the magic content and original approach to magic, I hope you all are happy with it too!

Kind Regards

Stephen

Hey - Stephen. Welcome to TM.

But is it really you? You must forgive me for being a little skeptical but at the same time I don't want to cause any offence as we've seen all sorts of claims here  as I'm sure you'll appreciate. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt!

I haven't seen the show due to work but I've read some favourable reviews. What I would like to say to you is to keep up the magic on TV at every opportunity. We magicians need some good exposure for our art and you're one of the few that's carrying the torch for us at the moment.

I've seen you on other programmes, not neccessarily doing magic but you have a talent in front of people.

Finally, can you get some of your fans to post something different than the usual repeat of I love Stephen Mulhern

I hope to see you post regularly, when time permits

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!

Stephen - it's an honour to have you around... let a mod know that you're here and then we'll know that it's you!

I never did know how they check...

Hi Georgenius

Whilst the review section is a good place to start, do make a point of looking out for tricks that are suitable for a beginner and have difficulty ratings of 1 or 2.

The scoring system used for tricks is fairly universal so when you go to web sites such as Penguin and Magictricks.co.uk, the scores can be a very good indicator. Watch the video's and find ones that you like the look of.

If you're serious about learning new tricks and improving your skills then you're in the right place so stick at it - and - people here won't appreciate text speak as you're now aware
