Does this cut exist?

I made up a one handed cut about a year and a half ago and someone told me it was a well know none handed cut

Did I make it up or is this guy correct?

The video was VERY unclear.

I don't think that cut is that well known but I'm not too sure. It looks like some form of a revolution cut.
